PCO Now was born out of a simple realization: many churches have powerful tools, but lack the time, systems, or expertise
to use them to their
full potential.

My Story
I’ve been working with Planning Center since 2011, but in 2017, a frustrating ministry experience changed the way I thought about church systems. At the time, our church was using a ChMS that simply was not a good fit for the way we operated. I was trying to reach more families, but too much of my time was being spent sorting through bad data, disconnected lists, and manual processes. I knew there had to be a better way.
That experience led me to push for greater use of Planning Center and to start asking a bigger question: How do we build systems that actually help ministry happen? That question has shaped the way I’ve approached Planning Center ever since.
I’ve seen firsthand how the right systems can create more clarity, more consistency, and more capacity to care for people well. Better systems do not replace ministry. They create more room for it.
That’s why I started PCO Now. After more than 15 years of working with Planning Center, I help churches move beyond simply having the software and start using it with greater intention and effectiveness.
Because when the right tools support the right ministry strategy, leaders can spend less time managing systems and more time leading people.
